At night, the desert is then again even more magical. The dry weather and lack of humidity enables clarity of vision and a clear sky. The stars shine so brightly in the vastness of the dark, each and every one flickering to its own rhythm. As one stares into the vastness of this starry night sky, it is easy to imagine a mosaic of fireworks as each star acts like a still firework about to ignite like a shooting star.
Using fast-motion and the time-lapse technique, the movement of the night sky was recorded and shooting stars were seen clearly. Adding on to this recording the natural sounds around me in addition to the clicking sounds of the tile nippers, a documentary art composition was created.
